The Fall Bucket List Book Tag

Hi everyone – I’m officially back! If you’re a regular reader you might have noticed that I’ve been off the grid for a while, and that’s because I’ve been busy with my next chapter in life: university. Now that I’ve settled in, I’m hoping to get back into things – and what better way to kick off my return than The Fall Bucket List Book Tag?!

I was recently tagged for this by both I’m All Booked Up YA and Her Digital Coffee, so thank you both so much for the tag! I also participated in this last year, so it’ll be interesting to see how my answers have changed. Now let’s get into it!

The Rules

1) Link back to the original creator in your post.
2) Feel free to use any of these graphics in your post, or create your own.
3) Tag 7 people at the end of your post and let them know you’ve tagged them.

There’s a couple I could choose for this one but I’m going to pick Love And Other Great Expectations by Becky Dean! I loved the characters in this, I thought Britt was really charming, and of course I can’t forget about Luke! I thought the literary scavenger hunt across the UK was a really lovely idea too.

That would have to be Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – it’s definitely the most hyped book I’ve read this year! Honestly, I was a bit nervous going into this as I was worried it wouldn’t live up to the reviews – but it ended up being one of my favourite reads of the year! I thought the world-building was superb and the characters are all amazing. I can’t recommend it enough!

I could choose a lot (and I mean, A LOT) of my contemporaries for this, but I’m going to go with Confessions Of An Alleged Good Girl by Joya Goffney. If you’ve read this then you’ll know what I mean – the trio is such an interesting combination and they had so many fun adventures together. It’s a really lovely read!

I have to go with Better Than The Movies by Lynn Painter! It’s another one which is up there with my favourite reads of the year so far and I have nothing but good things to say. Wes and Liz are so precious together and they truly do warm your heart. If you haven’t read it yet then this is your sign to do so!

Both families from A Pho Love Story by Loan Le! I haven’t spoken about this much on my blog, but I read it back in August and I really enjoyed it. I loved the concept of two rival restaurants competing and the modern Romeo and Juliet story. One thing’s for sure – this will definitely make you hungry!

I have to pick See You Yesterday by Rachel Lynn Solomon! I really loved this one too, I thought Miles and Barrett were both really interesting characters – but what was most interesting was the time-travel aspect. I was rooting for them to escape the time-loop right from the start, and I was so pleased with the ending!

I’m going to be opening this up to anyone who wants to participate instead of tagging anyone in particular!

Have you read any of these? What books would you recommend for this Fall? Let me know in the comments!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

  1. I noticed that you were gone and said to myself that I’ll wait. Welcome back! Great picks by the way! Better Than The Movies sounds like quite an interesting book just by the title. I’m excited to get it for Summer!
