Hi everyone! With the end of summer in sight, I thought it was the perfect time to participate in one last summer book tag. Today I’m going to participating in The Summer Bucket List Book Tag, which I saw over on Her Digital Coffee‘s blog and which was originally created by Read By Tiffany. Now let’s get onto it!
The Rules
- Link back to the original creator in your post.
- Feel free to use any of my graphics in your post, or create your own!
- Tag 5 other people at the end of your post, and let them know you’ve tagged them.

We’re starting strong with Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid! I know this book is really popular and that’s for good reason. I loved the setting in this, I thought Malibu as a backdrop was a really awesome idea and I loved reading the various beach and surfing scenes.

Honestly, I don’t usually read fiery romances – usually I stick to the sweet ones – so I’m going to have to go for this! I haven’t finished The Spanish Love Deception yet but it’s definitely been giving off some fiery vibes so far, and I’m interested to find out what happens next.

If This Gets Out by Sophie Gonzales and Cale Dietrich! I haven’t spoken about this nearly enough but I really enjoyed this book. I loved reading both the band’s physical tour across Europe (even if they didn’t see much of it) as well as Ruben and Zach’s personal journeys.

I think by now everyone who regularly reads my blog knows how much I enjoyed Better Than the Movies by Lynn Painter, and I have to choose it again now! I genuinely love this book so much, it was the best feeling finishing it and definitely the best contemporary I’ve read in a while.

That would have to be Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo! I loved this book so much, I fell in love with all the characters and I really love the Grishaverse. I spent every spare moment I had reading this and was completely hooked – I can’t wait to find out what happens in the Crooked Kingdom!

As someone who reads a lot of contemporary romance, there are so many books I could choose for this! With that being said, I recently read Love And Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch, which had a super sweet romance in it! I love a good friends to lovers.

I’m going to have to go for Confessions Of An Alleged Good Girl by Joya Goffney! I really enjoyed this book, I found the sex and body positivity really refreshing and definitely something there should be more of in YA. I definitely recommend picking it up!

Both Bao and Linh from Loan Le’s A Pho Love Story! I haven’t talked about this much on my blog yet but I really enjoyed this story about two children from rival families falling for each other. I loved how they overcame that obstacle and still managed to find a way to be together!

Love A La Mode by Stephanie Kate Strohm! I loved this super sweet romance about a cooking competition set in Paris. There were so many mouth-watering moments and I really enjoyed reading about the contestants’ different dishes!

I’m going to go with You’ve Reached Sam by Dustin Thao! This was my first read of the year and it really left an impact on me. It definitely inspired me to make the most of every moment more and appreciate the people around me.
I’m opening this tag up to anyone who would like to participate!
Have you read any of these? Will you participating in this book tag? Let me know in the comments, I’d love to check out your post!
I hope you enjoyed this tag!
