Mini Book Haul: April 2022

Hi everyone! Today I’m finally going to be sharing my April 2022 book haul. My boyfriend and I actually went into Bath one day last month and we visited some bookstores (amongst other things), and I ended up picking all of these up and thought I’d share it with you! I hope you find something here that’s to your tastes.

She Gets The Girl by Rachael Lippincott and Alyson Derrick

Thoughts: I’ve actually already read this – and it’s super cute! Molly and Alex were honestly amazing together, and there were so many adorable moments between the two. There were also lots of serious topics included as well, and I really appreciated the focus on friendship. The one thing I wasn’t as much of a fan of was how drawn out the slow burn was, but I still really loved it – it was one of my most anticipated releases last month and definitely lived up to my expectations!

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

Initial Thoughts: I finally gave in and bought what might just be the most talked about book on TikTok! I fully expect to be broken by this book, so many people have commented on how emotional Hoover’s books are so I can’t wait for the ride It Ends With Us will take me on!

Girl In Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow

Initial Thoughts: This sounds like it’s going to be another really emotional read! It seems like so many tough topics are going to be handled in this and it definitely has the potential to be a really poignant and raw story. I’m really hoping for a more hopeful end in this one!

How We Fall Apart by Katie Zhao

Initial Thoughts: I’ve been waiting to read this for what feels like forever, so when I saw the paperback sitting there on the shelves waiting for me I couldn’t resist! I actually tried the audiobook of this a while back but it just didn’t work for me, so I’m super excited to finally read this high stakes mystery dealing with the pressure of school and parents!

Fable by Adrienne Young

Initial Thoughts: I’m going to be completely honest with you, this one was 100% an impulse buy, but I was just drawn to it! I’ve been reading a few books set on the sea recently so I just had to pick this one up. Fable sounds like such a strong character and I can’t wait to delve into her journey of finding her father!

So… There you have it! The five fabulous books I bought in April! I can’t wait to read all of these over the summer when my exams are over; they all look absolutely amazing!

Have you read any of these? What books have you been buying recently? Let me know in the comments!

I hope you enjoyed this haul!

  8. It Ends with us is on my TBR. But I’m too scared to read it you know when something is so hyped but doesn’t live up to the expectation? Worried about that! I really loved Reminders of Him by CH definitely recommend!

    1. Yes I completely get that, sometimes books can be really overhyped and then completely ruin it for you! I’ll have to check out Reminders Of Him too, thank you so much for reading and commenting and the recommendation.
