The Aesthete Blogger Award

Hi everyone! I was recently lucky enough to be nominated for The Aesthete Blogger Award by Eri from Weird Lifestyle. I would like to say a massive thank you to them for nominating me – make sure to check out their blog too!

Award Rules

Answer the questions below.

  1. Tell me something about this world that you admire.
  2. What is your favorite form of creativity?
  • Nominate 7 lovely people and notify them by commenting on their posts; spread some love!
  • Ask your nominees 4 questions.
  • Share something you created. (can be anything!)

My answers to the questions above:

Tell me something about this world that you admire.

I think it would have to be the kindness people are capable of. Obviously there are some people who don’t fit into this, but I generally admire the levels of empathy people are capable of and what people will do to show you they care. Even simple things can make a world of difference and, especially with the pandemic, it’s lovely to see people coming together.

What is your favorite form of creativity?

Definitely writing! It’s been a passion of mine for so many years now, and I plan on pursuing it at university next year – if I can get in! Fingers crossed, haha.

Something I created:

Honestly, my blog is probably the best example of that.

My answers to Eri’s questions:

Which was that one moment of your life that made you feel extremely happy and why?

That’s really tough to pinpoint – I’m lucky enough to have had lots of happy memories! I think one stand out one for me would be just the other day, at a university open day. I really loved what I saw and it’s definitely a firm contender!

Why did you start blogging and why do you continue doing so?

I’d actually been thinking about starting a blog months before I finally did, so that’s an interesting question. When I started thinking about writing my personal statement (which is currently still being edited) I realised I really needed something to add that would make me stand out… And that gave me an excuse to start my blog!

Even though I’ve only been blogging for just over five months I’ve truly grown to love it, and I love sharing my two passions on here. I can’t imagine myself giving it up now – although there’s a lot of work (looking at you, twitter) involved it’s so rewarding and I love writing and planning my content for everyone. There’s nothing else like it!

If you had the power to change one thing in this world what would that be and why?

That’s a tough one – there are some many possible answers for this! I would probably have to go for getting rid of war, though, as it leads to some many other problems in turn. War is definitely one thing everyone could do without – it leads to so many innocent people suffering and dying.

If you could, would you change something from your past?

No. Although there are some things I’ve done which I’m not proud of, I still wouldn’t go back and change them. Making those decisions has made me who I am today and I’m generally in a pretty good place now, and I wouldn’t want to change that.

My nominees:

Hannah Cauldron’s Book Reviews

The Travel Vine

Her Digital Coffee

The Kelly Diane Report

Elle Grace Deveson

Not So Secret Me

My questions:

  1. What is your favourite book and why?
  2. What is your favourite part of blogging?
  3. What is one thing you think everyone should do more of?
  4. What is one thing you hope to achieve before 2021 ends?

I hope you enjoyed reading this, and you learnt a little more about me!

  1. I really loved reading your answers! I do think that the favourite form of creativity for most bloggers is writing. It made me smile the fact that you chose to mention your last happy moment as your favourite and one of many. This shows somebody who knows how to enjoy life where every day has something new to enjoy, to make you create your next favourite happy moment. I can’t wait to read the answers to your questions. Congratulations!!

    1. Thank you so much, I’m so glad to hear that you enjoyed them! It truly is, I think too often we get caught up with the negative aspects – we just need to turn on the news to see it – but we need to remember people like that are a minority. They definitely can! Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment.

  6. Some lovely answers! I did not know you have only been blogging for 5 months! Also I agree we all have probably done things we wouldn’t do now but all of our past mistakes have made us who we are today and taught us valuable lessons x
